Tastes Like Mc Donald's Tartar Sauce - Copycat image

I make this every time we have fish sandwiches. It tastes just like Mc Donald's so if you love their fish sandwiches you'll enjoy this. Another great copycat from Todd Wilbur.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 tablespoons Hellmann's mayonnaise
4 teaspoons heinz sweet pickle relish
4 teaspoons finely minced white onions (no substitutions)
2 pinches salt

Steps:

  • Combine mayonnaise, sweet relish, minced onion, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

  • Tip; If making sandwiches, add even more Mc Donald's flavor by lightly toasting cut sides of regular hamburger buns in a dry, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Melt a slice of American cheese atop a piece of cooked, breaded fish {Mrs. Paul's works well} and assemble sandwich.
