1 1/2 tsp. Canola Oil
2 Small Peaches, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp. Fresh Ginger Root, minced
4 tsp. Teriyaki Sauce, reduced sodium, divided
1/4 Cup Red Onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 lbs. Ground Turkey
1/3 Cup Mayonnaise, fat free
6 Multi-grain Hamburger Buns, split and toasted
Optional Toppings: Lettuce, Tomato, Slices of Peaches, Red Onion

Steps:

  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add peaches and ginger root and cook until peaches are tender. Add 1 teaspoon Teriyaki sauce; cook 1 minute longer. Transfer to small bowl and cool slightly. In a bowl, combine onion, pepper, salt and remaining teriyaki sauce. Add ground turkey; mix lightly but well. Shape into six 1/2" thick patties. Moisten a paper towel with oil and with long tongs rub on grill rack to coat lightly. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4" from heat, 5-6 minutes per side. Stir mayonnaise into peach mixture. Serve burgers on buns with peach mayo and toppings as desired.

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup prepared stuffing
1/3 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese (or Wensleydale cheese with cranberries, if available)
2 tablespoons dried cranberries
1 egg, lightly beaten
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard
2 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 1/2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
fresh lettuce, to serve
4 fresh baked hamburger buns, warmed

Steps:

  • In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, prepared stuffing, cheese, dried cranberries, and egg (add salt and pepper, if needed). Mix thoroughly.
  • Divide into four equal portions, and shape into four patties.
  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the mustard, mayonnaise and cranberry sauce.
  • Spread some cranberry mayonnaise mixture on the inside of the warmed buns.
  • Assemble your burgers with the lettuce and top patties with additional cran-mayo, as desired.
  • Enjoy! Goes nicely with a side salad or veggies and sweet-potato fries.

1 large red onion
1 cup (4 ounces) crumbled feta cheese, divided
2/3 cup chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds lean ground turkey
6 ciabatta rolls, split

Steps:

  • Cut onion in half. Finely chop one half and thinly slice the remaining half. Combine 1/2 cup feta, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped onion, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into six patties., Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 165° and juices run clear., Meanwhile, in a small nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, saute sliced onion until tender. Serve burgers on buns with onion and remaining feta.

1/4 cup thinly sliced scallion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
3 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
1/8 cup canola oil
4 lbs ground turkey breast
2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
1 lemon, juice of, after zest is grated
1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup major grey's chutney, pureed
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 Anjou pear, peeled and diced
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 cups major grey's chutney
1/4 cup dried currants or 1/4 cup raisins

Steps:

  • Saute the scallions, celery and green apples in the canola oil until tender. Let cool.
  • Place the ground turkey in a large mixing bowl. Add sauteed items and the pepper sauce, lemon juice and zest, parsley, chutney.
  • Shape into 8-8 oz burger patties, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Season the turkey burgers with the salt and pepper. Place on a preheated, lightly oiled grill and grill for 7 minutes each side or until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
  • To make the side of pear chutney, toss peeled and diced pear with cinnamon and sea salt.
  • Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  • Add pear to chutney and currants/raisins.
  • Serve alongside turkey burgers.
  • Note: this can also be made into meatballs. To make cocktail meatballs, brush or dip into pear chutney and broil quickly to glaze.
  • Serves 6.
  • Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
