- In a large bowl, beat sugar and lemon juice on high speed for 3 minutes or until sugar is partially dissolved. Gradually beat in milk. Stir in lemon extract and zest if desired. Chill. Stir in soda just before serving. Serve in chilled glasses over ice.

I love Lemonade! I'm on the HCG diet and was missing it. This recipe does the trick with a kick of orange zest (0cals!). Be sure to use Stevia (the only HCG approved sweetner)

- 1. Peel your lemon, grate your orange, add water, cubes and stevia to your blender. THE WHOLE LEMON!
- 2. Blend till slushie, add as many cubes as needed to get your preferred slush.
- 3. You are allowed one lemon a day on the HCG diet! Modify by adding strawberries and/or fresh mint. Add vodka for happy hour! Super refreshing

Steps:
- Beat sugar and lemon juice on high speed for 3 minutes or until sugar is partially dissolved.
- Gradually add milk, beating constantly on high.
- Stir in lemon extract and lemon peel.
- Transfer this lemon/sugar mixture to serving pitcher.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Just before serving, gently stir in soda.
- Best served over ice.
- This could possibly be made with Splenda, and also might be tasty with orange juice/extract instead of lemon.
