Number Of Ingredients 8

2 pound(s) bulk pork sausage, hot or medium (you pick)
1 large onion, finely chopped
16 ounce(s) velveeta cheese, cubed (1 pound)
1 can(s) refried beans
8 ounce(s) tomato sauce (1 small can)
5 ounce(s) salsa, chunky style
1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
1 - bag of your favorite chips

Steps:

  • Chop cheese into small chunks and set aside. Chop onions. Cook meat and onion in a large skillet or dutch oven pan. Stir until brown and crumbly. Be sure to break meat into small pieces while cooking. Drain off fat. Mix in the cheese and the rest of the ingredients and cook on medium high heat stirring occasionally until cheese has melted. Do not let it stick. Serve with your favorite chips.
  • Note: You can use 1 pound of beef plus 1 pound of sausage if you prefer. We like all hot sausage at my house.
