HONEY LIME TURKEY BREAST STRIPS



Honey Lime Turkey Breast Strips image

Turkey breast strips marinaded in a delicious honey lime marinade and cooked on the grill. The perfect weeknight grilling recipe full of flavor!

1 lb turkey breast strips
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
zest of one lime
1 TBSP light brown sugar
2 TBSP honey
2 TBSP olive oil
2 TBSP soy sauce
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Place turkey breast strips in a gallon sized freezer bag.
  • In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients. Pour over turkey breast strips.
  • Marinate for at least 2 hours. The longer the better.
  • Discard marinade and place turkey breast strips on a heated skillet or grill. Cook about 3 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 turkey breast tenderloin (8 ounces)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1 thin slice prosciutto or deli ham, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons minced fresh sage
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth

Steps:

  • Place flour in a large shallow bowl. Cut tenderloin horizontally in half; flatten each half with a meat mallet to 1/2-in. thickness. Sprinkle with pepper. Dip in flour to coat both sides; shake off excess., In a large skillet, heat oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add turkey; cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until no longer pink. Remove from pan; keep warm., In same pan, heat 1-1/2 teaspoons butter over medium-high heat. Add prosciutto and sage; cook and stir until slightly crisp. Add wine to pan; increase heat to medium-high. Cook until liquid is slightly reduced, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. Remove from heat; stir in remaining 1-1/2 teaspoons butter. Serve with turkey.

1 turkey breast
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 teaspoons turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
olive oil

Steps:

  • Slice turkey breast into strips.
  • In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients.
  • In a separate bowl beat egg.
  • Using one hand for the wet and the other for the dry, dredge the turkey in the egg followed by the flour mixture.
  • Repeat until all strips are coated.
  • Drizzle about a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Place turkey strips in skillet, cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip strips, cook an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through, taking care to not overcook or the turkey will become incredibly dry.

2 large egg whites
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut, toasted
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 pounds turkey breast tenderloins, cut into 1/2-inch strips
Cooking spray
DIPPING SAUCE:
1/2 cup plum sauce
1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon cornstarch

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. In a shallow bowl, whisk egg whites and oil. In another shallow bowl, mix coconut, bread crumbs, sesame seeds and salt. Dip turkey in egg mixture, then in coconut mixture, patting to help coating adhere., Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray; spritz turkey with cooking spray. Bake 10-12 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink, turning once., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, mix sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. 2 cups low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup fresh ginger, diced
6 -10 cloves garlic, minced

Steps:

  • slice turkey breast into strips.
