CHOW MEIN NESTS
These cute chow mein Easter egg nests are so fun for Easter; chocolate, butterscotch, and peanut butter coat the chow mein and then you add your favorite Easter egg candy.

Steps:
- Put the butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and peanut butter in a medium sized bowl.
- Microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes.
- Stir everything together.
- If you need, microwave for additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after until smooth and creamy.
- Pour your chow mein noodles into the bowl and stir to coat with the chocolate mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with a silicone liner or parchment paper.
- Scoop some of the chow mein mixture onto the parchment paper and carefully move the pieces to mold them into nest shapes.
- Place about 3 egg candies onto the nests.
- Place in fridge to harden quickly, or allow to harden on counter for a couple hours.

HOMEMADE NOODLES BIRD'S NEST

Steps:
- Crush the noodles into small pieces. Roast noodles about two three minutes or until light golden brown (heat over medium heat). Stir continuously while roasting. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Then, in a thick-bottomed pan, add coconut pani or treacle (treacle is a coconut liquid, it's brown in color and similar to molasses), sugar and cinnamon powder. Bring the mixture to a boil, up to 100 C degrees (use a candy thermometer if you have one).
- Then add the hot coconut mixture to the noodles and mix well. Place 4 tablespoons of the mixture into 4 greased (use butter if you can) ice cream cups. Press down the mixture firmly. I've done this in the photo above. Let the nests cool.
- Remove from ice cream cups and place yellow candy in the center of the nests.
- Serve and enjoy.

- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and marshmallows until smooth, stirring occasionally. Add the peanut butter and chocolate chips; heat and stir for 2 minutes or until smooth. Remove from the heat; stir in chow mein noodles until well coated. , Divide into 12 mounds on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Using fingers, shape each into a nest; press an indentation in the center of nest. Fill each nest with three or four jelly beans or candy eggs. Cool.

Steps:
- Line a cookie sheet with foil and grease with spray-on cooking oil.
- Pour noodles into a large bowl. Melt the butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Pour marshmallow mixture over noodles, stirring until well coated.
- Rub some butter on hands and form noodle mixture into six round balls. Place balls on prepared cookie sheet. With the back of a teaspoon, press the center of each ball to make a hollow indentation.
- Let nests set until they are firm. Fill each with small jelly beans. (Other small candies of your choice may be substituted, such as M & M's, small gumdrops, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts, etc.)
