Easy Beef-Stuffed Shells image

20 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 carton (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup prepared pesto
1 large egg
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce, divided

Steps:

  • Cook pasta shells according to package directions to al dente; drain and rinse in cold water. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1-1/2 cups Italian cheese blend, Parmesan cheese, pesto, egg and half of the beef mixture., Spread 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Spoon cheese mixture into pasta shells; place in baking dish. Combine remaining beef mixture and spaghetti sauce; pour over shells. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight., Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake until cheese is melted, 5-10 minutes longer.

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste
1 1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c beef broth
2 c rotini pasta
1 can(s) tomato sauce, 8 oz
2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat a larger skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, paprika, parsley, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 2. Drain grease when browned.
  • 3. Add beef broth.
  • 4. Add milk.
  • 5. Add tomato sauce.
  • 6. Add noodles.
  • 7. Stir and bring to a boil.
  • 8. Cover and simmer 10-12 minutes. Stir frequently so it doesn't stick.
  • 9. Stir in cheese until melted. Serve.

1 3/4 cups milk
1 1/3 cups hot water
1 cup frozen sweet peas

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef in 10-inch skillet; drain.
  • Stir in uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), milk and hot water. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; stir in peas. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat (sauce will thicken as it stands).
