1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon dried marjoram
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried thyme

Steps:

  • Combine thoroughly in a small bowl. Store unused rub in an airtight jar.

1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon lemon zest

Steps:

  • Pound all the ingredients in your motar with your pestle, until fine and well combgined.
  • Store in an airtight container in fridgge for 1 month.

2 teaspoons dried Greek oregano

1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon ground thyme
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Mix salt, garlic powder, basil, oregano, cinnamon, black pepper, parsley, rosemary, dill, marjoram, cornstarch, thyme, and nutmeg in a bowl. Store in an airtight container. Alternately, blend spices in a spice grinder for a finer texture.

Yogurt Wet Rub for Chicken image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Zest and juice of 1 lemon

Steps:

  • Mix the yogurt, turmeric, paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and lemon zest and juice in a medium bowl until completely combined.
  • To use, apply the wet rub to chicken and let marinate, refrigerated, at least 30 minutes and up to overnight. Makes enough for 4 to 6 chicken breasts.
