GRANOLA CEREAL BARS
These sweet peanut butter bars are perfect for breakfast, dessert or anytime as a quick snack. You can add raisins instead of chocolate chips if you prefer. -Helen Velichko, Kansas City, Missouri

Steps:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar, peanut butter and corn syrup; cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring once. Stir in the vanilla; add oats and cereal. Fold in chocolate chips. Press into a 9-in. square pan coated with cooking spray. Cool and cut into bars.

GRANOLA CEREAL BARS
This was origianlly a recipe I developed for Fiber One cereal. I decided I did not like the taste, so I went back and redid it using granola. Much better, and less hazardous if you eat more than one!

Steps:
- Beat egg, and combine with peanut butter and honey in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture starts to bubble. It only takes a couple of minutes - don't stop stirring as it sets up quickly.
- Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts; mix well.
- Spread and press evenly into a greased 8" pan. Press firmly and evenly with the back of a large spoon or measuring cup.
- Chill until firm; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
