3/4 cup Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
4 oz bulk pork sausage
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Barbecue sauce or chili sauce, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, mix all ingredients except barbecue sauce. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan.
  • Bake uncovered 22 to 26 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.

2 cups GF Bisquick
1/4 cup milk

  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with hands. Form into balls. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Gluten-free sausage balls that are also very economical.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups rice flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups boiling water
2 pounds sausage
1 pound shredded cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine rice flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over the mixture and mix together with a whisk or electric mixer. Add sausage and mix together with an electric mixer or potato masher. Stir in cheese.
  • Shape sausage mixture into small balls using your hands and set onto a baking sheet or a baking rack with small holes (preferred). If using a baking rack, place a drip tray underneath to catch drippings.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until sausage balls are cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
