FRUIT SKEWERS WITH HONEY-LIME DIP

FRUIT SKEWERS WITH HONEY-LIME DIP image

Categories     Fruit     No-Cook     Quick & Easy

Yield 3 doz. skewers

Number Of Ingredients 10

ingredients
1 bunch grapes
1 punnet of strawberries
1 melon
4 kiwi
dip
lime juice from ½ lime
lime zest from one lime
2 Tbsp. honey
1 cup plain yogurt (the higher the fat content, the tastier)

Steps:

  • 1 De-stem, peel and de-seed any fruit that isn't already in a ready-to-eat state. Cut all the fruit into small bite-sized chunks. Skewer anywhere from 3-5 bits of fruit per stick; you'll want more fruit for longer sticks, but bear in mind that too big of a skewer can be rather unwieldy to eat. 2 Combine all the dip ingredients in a mixing bowl, and stir well to combine. Transfer to a pretty serving bowl. 3 Arrange the skewers on a platter along with the dip. I like to pop a small spoon in the dip, as I find it's easier to spoon a little over the fruit rather than dipping the fruit directly -- ripe fruit has a tendency to slide off skewers.
