CHOCOLATE AMARETTO MOUSSE PIE

Chocolate Amaretto Mousse Pie image

My mom had this recipe for a long time and never got around to making it. Very smooth, creamy dessert - works any time of the year. Of course, if you don't want to make it as a pie, just make the mousse filling and chill in wine glasses. The prep time does not include the chilling time for the pie to set.

This is a recipe I've had for a long, long time and calls for uncooked eggs. Make this ONLY if you're absolutely sure of your source. (ah, for the good old days of salmonella-free eggs!). Requires 4 hours of refrigeration before serving.

ACES (FROZEN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE PIE)

Aces (Frozen Chocolate Mousse Pie) image

I have been using this recipe from the Best of Bridge series for many years. With a pecan chocolate wafer crust, creamy chocolate mousse filling, this frozen dessert is perfect for those easy, casual entertaining. This recipe could be cut in half and placed in 2 smaller springform pans. The recipe needs freezer time, so give yourself enough time to play
