4 cups frozen mango chunks (16 ounces)
3 tablespoons pure maple or agave syrup
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Place frozen mango chunks in a food processor; let stand 5 minutes to thaw slightly. Add maple syrup, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon water. Process, scraping down sides, until smooth and thick (if too thick, add up to 1 tablespoon additional water), about 2 minutes.
  • Pack into a resealable container and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour and up to 1 month.

1 pound frozen mango chunks, partially thawed for 15 minutes, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups ice
Lime wedges, for garnish
1 cup fresh mint
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup tequila
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (from 3 large limes)

Steps:

  • In a small heavy saucepan, bring the mint, sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Cool to room temperature.
  • Strain the mint syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a blender. Press firmly on the mint leaves to release all of the syrup. Add the tequila, lime juice, mango and ice. Blend until pureed.
  • Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and serve.

3 -5 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Combine the buttermilk and yogurt in the blender.
