- Soften cream cheese and then whip with powdered sugar.
- Whip cream and sugar together until it forms soft peaks.
- Combine beaten cream cheese, whipped cream, lemon juice and zest; continue to beat, adding just enough pineapple juice to achieve desired consistency.
- Serve with fresh fruit tray or fruit salad.
- Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.

I was looking for a fruit dip recipe and this one sounded so refreshing. It's originally a Paula Deen recipe, so I knew I couldn't go wrong! I made a couple of small changes to personalize it. Judging from the reaction of my family, this one will be requested at all family get-togethers. I wasn't able to get any pictures this...

- 1. Soften cream cheese and then whip with powdered sugar.
- 2. Whip cream and sugar together until it forms soft peaks.
- 3. Combine beaten cream cheese, whipped cream, lemon juice and zest. I suggest sampling the dip after adding the juice from one-half lemon. Add more to taste. If the dip needs to be thinned down add some pineapple juice.
- 4. Serve with fresh fruit or fruit salad.
FRENCH CREAM FRUIT DIP BY PAULA DEEN
Oh my, this is delightful! I had this at a cocktail party last night. The hostess served it with whole strawberries but any mix of fruits will do beautifully. If you have a vanilla bean lying around, remove the seeds and add it to the dip. Cook time is chilling time. Make ahead and enjoy.

- Continue to beat, SLOWLY add just enough pineapple juice to achieve desired consistency. I prefer it to be the consistency of a thick Greek yogurt.
- Chill until party time!
- Serve with fresh fruit tray or fruit salad.
