Number Of Ingredients 11

4 cups shredded cabbage
1 large apple, chopped
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a serving bowl, combine the cabbage, apple, raisins, celery and onion. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2 cups cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, shredded
2 whole green onions, thinly sliced
1 apple, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
generous pinch pepper

Steps:

  • Shred cabbage and carrots. Turn into a large bowl. Thinly slice green onion, and chop apple. Stir cabbage mixture.
  • In a small bowl, stir mayonnaise, with vinegar, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Stir mayonnaise mixture into vegetables. Toss well. Refrigerate for at least an hour to chill and give flavors a chance to blend. Refrigerated coleslaw will keep for at least a day.
  • Stir just before serving.
