2 fat-free hot dogs
2 egg roll wraps
1 slice fat free cheese
spicy mustard
sweet relish

Steps:

  • Run a knife down the middle of each hot dog. Slice cheese into 4 sections. Insert 2 sections of cheese into each hot dog.
  • Spread mustard on hot dog and wrap in lightly moistened egg roll wrapper.
  • Cook on a drip rack in small pan in your toaster oven at 350 for about 5 to 7 minutes. When the wrapper begins to brown slightly, your weiners are done. Garnish with mustard and sweet relish.

1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package beef cocktail wieners
¾ cup brown sugar, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all.
  • Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sugar is bubbly. To serve, place the wieners in a slow cooker and keep on the low setting.

  • Whisk eggs and almond milk together in a bowl until well combined.

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1-1/4 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 to 2 cups all-purpose flour
8 slices process American cheese
3 tablespoons ketchup
8 hot dogs

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add whole wheat flour, brown sugar, salt and vanilla; beat until smooth. Add enough all-purpose flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead for 6-8 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Roll into a 20x14-in. rectangle; cut into eight 7x5-in. pieces. On each piece of dough, place a slice of cheese, 1 teaspoon ketchup and a hot dog. Fold edges of dough over and press tightly to seal. Place on a greased baking sheet. A cousin of mine loves cooking and shares all her favorites with me. This one came several years ago, I served these to a group and the requests have never ended. These are addictive and delicious.

2 lbs Little Smokies sausages (we use Hillshire Farm)
1 lb bacon (real bacon, no turkey bacon or maple flavored)
2 cups light brown sugar

Steps:

  • Line large baking sheet with foil (we don't always do this, but it's easier for cleanup).
  • Cut bacon into thirds, resulting in several 3" strips.
  • wrap each weiner with bacon, line them loosely in the pan as you go.
  • Cover with brown sugar, it'll seem like a lot of sugar, but it cooks down
  • Bake 375 for 45 minutes. Broil at the end until top is crisped.
  • Hurry and get your share before everyone eats them all!
