This dip was a huge hit at our Superbowl party! We served it on top of chili or with chips. I transferred it to my small, 2 qt crockpot to keep it warm through the game and it fit perfectly.

1 lb breakfast sausage
2 pkg cream cheese (8 oz each)
2 can(s) rotel (10 oz each)
1 Tbsp diced jalapenos

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until evenly browned and no longer pink. Drain.
  • 2. Reduce heat to low, and stir in the Rotel, cream cheese, and jalapenos until evenly blended. Cook just until heated.

2 2 2 Blocks Cream Cheese
1 1 to Can Rotel (Rotel is a combination of diced tomatoes and green chilis. You can find it in the canned vegetables aisle, most likely next to the tomatoes).
1 1 1 tube Spicy Italian Sausage

Steps:

  • 1. In a saucepan, brown sausage. Cook thoroughly. 2. Cut up cream cheese and add to sausage. 3. Once the cheese is melted, add the can of Rotel (don't drain). 4. Mix together and serve immediately. 5. Serve with tortilla chips. Suggestion: Serve in crockpot so it stays warm and creamy.
