1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup water
3/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Combine and set aside brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, pudding, water, cooking oil, vanilla and eggs.
  • Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour 1/3 of batter in prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle with 1/3 of brown sugar mixture.
  • Pour remaining batter over brown sugar and sprinkle with remaining brown sugar mix.
  • Bake at 350* for 45 minutes or when top springs back when touched lightly in center.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 (1 1/2 ounce) chocolate-covered english toffee bars, chopped (about 1 cup)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Butter 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish and set aside.
  • Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl on low speed using electric mixer until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  • Transfer 1/2 cup butter-sugar mixture to medium bowl; mix in toffee and pecans.
  • Set aside.
  • Stir baking soda into remaining butter-sugar mixture in large bowl.
  • Add buttermilk, egg and vanilla, beating until just combined.
  • Transfer batter to prepared dish.
  • Sprinkle toffee topping evenly over batter.
  • Bake until topping is golden brown and toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
  • Cool completely in baking dish.
  • Cut into 16 squares.
  • (Can be made 1 day ahead. Store in airtight container at room temperature.) Makes 16 squares.

3 cups 2% milk
1 package (5.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 packages (9 ounces each) chocolate wafers
2 Heath candy bars (1.4 ounces each), crushed

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix 2 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes or until soft-set. In another large bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form., Arrange 20 cookies on bottom of an 8-in. square baking dish. Spread a fourth of the chocolate pudding and a fourth of the whipped cream over cookies. Repeat layers 3 times. Sprinkle with crushed candy bars. Refrigerate overnight.

2 cups crushed chocolate graham snacks (such as Nabisco Teddy Grahams®)
½ cup melted butter
1 (8 ounce) package toffee baking bits (such as Heath Bits 'O Brickle®)
6 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered toffee, crushed (such as Heath®)
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup chopped pecans
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Stir together crushed chocolate graham snacks and the melted butter; press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven; layer the toffee baking bits, crushed toffee candy bars, chocolate chips, and chopped pecans evenly over the crust. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the layers.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until set, about 20 minutes. Cool overnight before cutting.
