DELUXE CHEESEBURGER SALAD
I was planning to grill burgers, and then it dawned on me: How about a cheeseburger salad? The original recipe doesn't call for a tomato, but it's awesome here. -Pam Jefferies, Cantrall, Illinois

- In a large bowl, combine beef and steak seasoning, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into twenty 1/2-in.-thick patties. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat 3-4 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°., In a large bowl, combine lettuce, burgers, cheese, croutons, tomato, onion and pickles. Serve with salad dressing.Freeze option: Place patties on a waxed papper-lined baking sheet; cover and freeze until firm. Remove from pan and transfer to an airtight container; return to freezer. To use, cook frozen patties as directed, increasing time as necessary for a thermometer to read 160°.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425°F Slice bun tops into ¼-in. strips (if bun tops are very thick, slice bottoms off horizontally before slicing into strips). Arrange in a single layer on large pan; bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove to Stackable Cooling Rack; cool completely.
- Slice half of the onion crosswise into thin rings. Remove and discard stems from tomatoes; cut tomatoes into quarters lengthwise and slice crosswise. Set onion and tomatoes aside.
- Cook ground beef in (8-in.) Sauté Pan over medium-high heat 5-7 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking beef into crumbles.
- Chop remaining onion half using Food Chopper. Finely dice pickles.
- In Bowl, combine chopped onion, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Add cooked ground beef; mix well.
- To serve, arrange lettuce on large serving platter. Spoon beef mixture over lettuce.
- Top with cheese, tomatoes and sliced onion. Arrange hamburger bun croutons around edge of platter. Serve immediately.

Arrange in a single layer on Large Bar Pan; bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove to Stackable Cooling Rack; cool completely. 2. Cut onion in half crosswise using Utility Knife. Slice half of the onion crosswise into thin rings using Ultimate Mandoline fitted with adjustable slicing blade on thin setting. Cut tomatoes lengthwise into quarters and slice crosswise. Set onion and tomatoes aside. 3. Cook ground beef in (8-in./20-cm) Sauté Pan over medium-high heat 5-7 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking beef into crumbles using Nylon Turner. Meanwhile, chop remaining onion half using Food Chopper. Finely dice pickles using Utility Knife. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine chopped onion, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Add cooked beef; mix well using Small Mix 'N Scraper®. 4. To serve, arrange lettuce on large serving platter. Spoon beef mixture over lettuce. Top with cheese, tomatoes and sliced onion. Arrange hamburger bun croutons around edge of platter. Serve immediately.
