This is a very easy and deliciously different cheese ball; your guests will love it! The curry and cream cheese are rich and tasty. This is best served on a hearty wheat cracker.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup chutney
½ teaspoon mustard powder
1 ½ tablespoons curry powder
½ cup sliced almonds

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and chutney until well blended. Season with mustard powder and curry powder, and mix well. Chill overnight, or until cream cheese is firm.
  • Roll chilled cheese mixture into a ball, and roll in almonds to coat. Serve with crackers or veggies.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 8-oz pkg cream cheese (I use the lowfat)
1 cup cooked, finely chopped chicken breast
¾ cup almonds, toasted and finely chopped
1/3 cup mayo
2 T chutney, chopped
1 T curry powder
¼ t salt (I omit)
chopped parsley (I use the dry)

Steps:

  • Mix first seven ingredients together in a large bowl in the order given. Chill several hours (3 hours, minimum for flavors to meld). Shape into a ball and roll in the parsley. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with crackers.
