SLOW COOKER (CROCK POT) PORK LOIN ROAST & KRAUT
Simple but tasty slow cooked pork roast recipe. The pork comes out very moist & tender with great flavor. This is a great recipe that you can cook in half the time on high, but mostly I cook it on low when I'm out of the house longer than 6-8 hours. You can also add additional seasonings to fit your tastes, sometimes I add Rosemary or Thyme or Basil or Oregano or Garlic or Onion Powder... etc... This also works well with thick cut pork chops too instead of loin roast.

Steps:
- Coat bottom of crock pot with olive oil then add the 3 thick slices of onion.
- Place roast on top of the onion slices (onion makes a little shelf for roast so it does not stick to bottom of crock). Season pork as desired, insert garlic cloves randomly into meat then coat entire roast with "Saucy Susan" (if you absolutely cannot find "Saucy Susan", substitute with equal parts peach & apricot jelly).
- Add the can of sauerkraut (undrained) and the broth to crock trying not to wash seasonings & sauce off of roast while adding.
- Cover with lid & cook on high 4-6 hours or on low 8-10 hours.

EASY CROCK POT BACON-WRAPPED PORK LOIN ROAST
I love to buy those long, pork loin roasts from Sams Club when they go on sale. I usually cut them up into three-one and a half to two pound roasts, so I get at least three meals out of it. This is a very easy and flavorful way to make these wonderful pork loin roasts. I don't use a lot of herbs and spices, because my husband...

Steps:
- 1. Wash pork roast and pat dry. Add salt and pepper to taste. Wrap pork roast in uncooked bacon slices, securing underneath the roast. Cook in crockpot on low heat for about 5 to 6 hours or until bacon is cooked and roast is tender. Transfer to serving platter.
- 2. Pour broth into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Thicken using about 2 teaspoons of cornstarch mixed with enough milk to make a pourable paste. Add cornstarch mixture to broth a little at a time, whisking constantly. If mixture seems too thin, you may add a little more cornstarch. If too thick, pour in a little milk or water. Continue cooking and whisking until consistency is correct. You may also add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Slice roast and serve with gravy.
CROCK POT ROAST PORK LOIN WITH CREAMY DIJON SAUCE
This is an adapted recipe prepared for the ZWT 8 France Crock Pot Challenge. The original recipe was IngridH's recipe #437150 #437150. I adapted this recipe to be used in a crock pot by adding some additional liquid, and using creme fraiche instead of sour cream. I used creme fraiche because it is more heat stable and doesn't curdle when added to hot liquids.

CROCK POT PORK LOIN ROAST
A great recipe for a rolled pork roast like the ones from Costco that tend to be a little dry & tough. The sauce can be thickened with a flour/water sauce for a flavorful gravy with pepper added. No salt is necessary as the condensed soup adds plenty! Sometimes I add 1/2 pkg dry onion soup mix sprinkling it right on the meat before cooking, Increase spices according to your taste.
