This is a wonderful pie I have created out of a few other recipes. It is a nice blend of fruit and cream with a crispy top.

3 cups sliced apples
1 cup blueberries
1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste
1 cup plain yogurt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup chopped pecans
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Toss apples and blueberries in the unbaked pie crust.
  • Mix 1/4 cup flour, white sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in yogurt, egg, and vanilla extract; pour batter over apples and blueberries.
  • Combine 1/2 cup flour, pecans, oats, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Cut in butter with a knife or pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking pie crust is lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Sprinkle crumb mixture over pie and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes more. Cool before serving.

Pastry for single-crust pie (9 inches)
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
6 cups diced peeled tart apples (about 6 medium)
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
TOPPING:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons cold butter

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. deep-dish pie plate or cast-iron skillet with crust; flute edges. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and allspice. Fold in the apples. Combine sour cream and vanilla; stir into apple mixture. Spoon into crust., For topping, combine the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 4 cups thinly sliced peeled apples (such as Gala or Fuji)
3/4 cup sugar, divided
1/4 cup (2 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Roll out pastry to fit a 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Transfer pastry to pie plate. Trim pastry to 1/2 in. beyond edge of plate; flute edges., In a large bowl, combine apples and 1/2 cup sugar; transfer to pastry shell. 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup cold butter, cubed
6 tablespoons cold water
FILLING:
6 cups sliced peeled tart apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
CREAM SAUCE:
1 large egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add water, tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball. Divide dough in half. Roll out one portion. Line a 9-in. pie plate with bottom crust; trim even with edge of plate. Set aside., In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Combine the sugar, flour, lemon zest, cinnamon and salt; add to apples and gently toss. Mound apples in pastry shell so center is higher than edges; dot with butter. , Roll out remaining dough to fit top of pie; cut a hole in the center about the size of a quarter. 2 pound apples
2 tablespoon flour
1/2 small sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
4 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Cream Cheese Mixture
8 ounce cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoon caramel sauce
Other Ingredients
1 (11-ounce) package vanilla wafer cookies, as needed
1 pound container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup caramel sauce

Steps:

  • Core and chop apples into 1-inch size pieces. Place apples into a small saucepan and toss with the flour, sugar, and spices. Add the lemon juice and syrup and toss again. Place over medium high heat and cook, stirring from time to time until apples are bubbling and have softened (about 18 minutes). -- Remove from pan and place into the refrigerator for 10 minutes while preparing the next mixtures. -- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugars, vanilla, and cinnamon. With the machine running, beat in the whipping cream for 2 minutes. 2 pkg 4-serving each pkg, instant, sugar free vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp cinnamon, divided
1 9" reduced-fat graham cracker crust, like from keebler.
1 21 oz can apple pie filling, i used low fat.

Steps:

  • 1. In lg bowl, beat cream cheese w/ milk until smooth. Beat in pudding mix and 1/2 tsp cinnaom. Spread into crust.
  • 2. In bowl, combine apple pie filling and remaining cinnamon. Spread over pudding. Cover, chill for 4 hrs.
