8 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 5 large)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1-1/2 to 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
TOPPING:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cloves
5 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Place first six ingredients in a large bowl; toss to combine. Transfer to a 13x9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray., Mix first five topping ingredients; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Sprinkle over apple mixture. , Bake, uncovered, until golden brown and apples are tender, 40-45 minutes.

1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
1 apple, chopped

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to reserved juice to measure 2-1/2 cups; pour into small saucepan. Bring to boil. Add to dry gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.
  • Stir in pineapple, cranberry sauce, nuts and apples. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  • Refrigerate 2-1/2 hours or until firm. Remove desserts from liners before serving.

2 cups peeled, cored and chopped apple
¾ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
½ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats

Vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

One 14-ounce can whole-berry cranberry sauce
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
5 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch slices
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) salted butter, melted
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • For the filling: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 9-inch pie dish with the softened butter. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cranberry sauce, granulated sugar and flour. Add the apples to the cranberry mixture, tossing to coat, and pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish.
  • For the crumb topping: In the same mixing bowl, stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, pecans and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples in the dish.
