13 oz canned crabmeat, flaked (2 cans)
2 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) cream of tomato soup
3 c half and half
2 c heavy cream
1 can(s) cream of asparagus soup
1/2 c sherry

Steps:

  • 1. Combine soups, half & half, and cream. mix well. Stir in crab meat.
  • 2. Heat to almost boiling then add sherry.

4 lb snow crab clusters (legs)
4 qt water (16 cups)
1 small onion, chopped
1 1/2 stalk(s) celery, chopped
2 clove garlic, quartered
2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/4 c fresh chopped italian parsley
2 tsp mustard seed
1 Tbsp chopped pimento
1/2 tsp coarse ground pepper
2 bay leaves
1/3 c tomato sauce
2 Tbsp half and half
1/4 c unsalted butter
1/4 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp basil
1/8 tsp marjoram

Steps:

  • 1. Remove all the crab meat from the shells and set it aside.
  • 2. Put half of the shells into a large pot with 4 quarts of water over high heat. Add onion 1 stalk of chopped celery, and garlic, then bring mixture to a boil.
  • 3. Continue to boil for 1 hour, stirring occasionally (The white part of the shells will start to become transparent), then strain stock. Discard the shells, onion, celery and garlic, keeping only the stock.
  • 4. Measure 3 quarts (12 cups) of the stock into a large sauce pan or cooking pot. If you don't have enough stock, add enough water to make 3 quarts.
  • 5. Add potatoes, bring mixture to a boil, then add 1/2 of the crab and the remaining ingredients to the pot and bring it back to boiling.
  • 6. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours, uncovered until it reduces by about half and starts to thicken.
  • 7. Add the remaining crab and simmer for another hour until the soup is very thick.

2 cups butter (1 pound)
3 cups chopped corn
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1 cup chopped celery
3 cups chicken broth
3 (15 ounce) cans corn or 6 ears fresh corn
cans Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 lbs crabmeat
2 pints half-and-half
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of potato soup
1 cooking spoon flour
black pepper and oyster crackers (optional)

Steps:

  • Sauté pepper and celery in butter until completely softened. While stirring add the flour until dissolved. Add the chicken broth, corn, and crab cooking and stirring for five minutes. Add the milk , cream and potato soup stirring and blending until thoroughly heated throughout.

4 pounds snow crab clusters (legs)
2 quarts water
2 quarts chicken broth
1 small onion, chopped
1 1/2 ribs celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, quartered
2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 t dry mustard
1 T chopped canned pimiento
one 16oz can refried beans
1/2 t pepper
2 bay leaves
1/3 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 T butter
1/4 t dried thyme
1/8 t dried basil
2 T Old Bay seasoning

Steps:

  • Remove all crabmeat from shells and set aside. Discard 1/2 of shells and put remainder into large pot with water and chicken broth over high heat. Add onion, 2/3 of chopped celery, and the garlic, then bring the mixture to a boil. Continue to boil for 1 hr, stirring occasionally, then strain the broth. Discard the shells, onion, celery, and garlic, keeping only broth. Measure 3 qts of broth into lg saucepan or pot. Add water if there's not enough broth to measure 3 qts. Add potatoes and bring mixture to boil, then add one half of crabmeat and all remaining ingredients, including remainder of chopped celery, to saucepan and bring mixture back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 4 hours or until soup reduces by about half and starts to thicken. Add remaining crabmeat and simmer for another hour or until soup is very thick. Refrigerate overnight. It's better the next day. Remove bay leaf before serving. Serves 4 to 6.

diced
1 tbsp.butter
2 tomatoes
diced.1lb.Crab meat.1tsp. salt
dash of cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cup of cream or evaporated milk
1 tbsp. parsley.

Steps:

  • In a sauce pan saute' onions and pepper in melted butter until the onions are transparent,stir in tomatoes.Cook 3 min. Add remaining ingredients.Heat don't boil.
