⅛ teaspoon almond extract
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup seedless grapes
1 cup fresh strawberries
1 cup apple chunks
1 cup pineapple chunks
8 (6 inch) wooden skewers

Steps:

  • Stir yogurt, applesauce, almond extract, and cinnamon together in a bowl until dipping sauce is well-combined.
  • Thread grapes, strawberries, apple chunks, and pineapple chunks alternatively onto skewers. Arrange finished skewers on a plate and serve with dipping sauce.

1 honeydew melon, peeled, halved and seeded
8 strawberries, hulled
6 chewy granola bars

Steps:

  • Slice the cantaloupe and honeydew into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Using small flower-shaped cookie cutters, cut flowers from the melon slices. Using a paring knife, cut a wedge out of the stem end of each strawberry to form a heart shape. Cut the granola bars crosswise into equal squares.
  • Assemble by skewering the ingredients through the ice-pop sticks, alternating between melon flowers, strawberries and granola bars, in any combination.

1 cup maple syrup
1 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon orange extract

Steps:

  • Cut the fruit into bite sized chunks. Thread a piece of each fruit onto a skewer along with a mint leaf. Set aside.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the maple syrup. Whisk in the cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the orange extract and cook until hot. Don't let it come to a boil. Spoon into a serving dish and serve immediately as a dipping sauce with the fruit skewers.
