Easter Cheese image

This is a recipe I made with my mother every year at Easter time. need to make 24-48 hours before your dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 6

12 eggs
pinch salt
1Quart milk
1 tspn vanilla extract
1 or more cheese cloth
thread or something to tie cheese cloth

Steps:

  • 1. pour all Ingredients in a Double Pan stir,Boil until mixture gets watery like cheese.Drain into cheese cloth tie & hang for 24 hours with bowl underneath
  • 2. untie brush top with Egg Yolk Bake @ 350 until Brown on top.
  • 3. we always made 2 so process,timing etc. may vary depending on how many is needed
