1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup coconut
3 cups quick oats

Steps:

  • Mix, milk, margarine, sugar& cocoa in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Add vanilla, coconut, & oats, mix thoroughly and drop from tablespoon onto wax paper or cookie sheets.
  • Chill until set & enjoy!

This is one of my boyfriends favourite recipes and a good sweet dish to make in hot weather since there's no oven involved to heat up your kitchen. You can also sub museli for the oats.

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick oats

Steps:

  • Mix sugar, butter, cocoa and milk together in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper or a cookie sheet.
  • Allow to cool.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
1 tablespoon butter
12 chocolate sandwich style cookies
3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
24 minuature pretzel twists
24 M&M's

Steps:

  • Place chocolate and butter in saucepan, cook over low heat until melted, stirring frequently, set aside.
  • Spread bottom of each cookie with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter, dip into melted chocolate mixture, immediately press 2 pretzel twists on chocolate for frog legs with wide part of prezels facing outward. Place, pretzel side down, on wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  • Attach M & M's for eyes using remaining chocolate mixture or peanut butter.
  • Let stand until chocolate is set.

  • In a double broiler melt the chips and butter, whisking until smooth.
  • With a clean paint brush "paint" chocolate on the top of frogs.
  • Let dry, flip and paint the other side.

Steps:

  • Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Pour chocolate into a plastic frog mold. Put mold in the freezer to let the chocolate harden. When the chocolate is hard, remove the frogs from the mold, and pour more chocolate in the mold. Repeat the process until all the chocolate is used up.

6 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 c oatmeal, uncooked
1 c coconut, shredded
1 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. Measure out all the ingredients before you begin.
  • 2. In heavy saucepan melt margarine and sugar. Add milk. Boil 1 minute.
  • 3. Add cocoa. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, oatmeal, coconut and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or parchment paper.
  • 4. Chill several hours before eating. Store in airtight container.

Immediately press 2 pretzels under cookie, wide "feet" outward, and attach M&M's stuck on with a dab of chocolate for eyes.

  • Grease and line a 7 inch square baking tin.
  • Combine the sugar,butter,cocoa powder and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally to remove any lumps. Reduce the heat to low and boil gently for 5 mins.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Then add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture in to the tin and chill for about an hour in the fridge.
  • Cut the hardened mix in to bars and enjoy!
