Quick, easy appetizer. Can also be grilled!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon mustard powder
¾ cup water

Steps:

  • Disjoint the chicken wings, discarding the tips.
  • Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, butter or margarine, mustard and water and heat until the sugar and butter dissolve. Let mixture cool and pour over wings. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake chicken wings in marinade for 45 minutes, turning once and spooning marinade over chicken occasionally. Drain on paper towels and serve.

1 stick butter
1 c soy sauce
1 c brown sugar
3/4 c water
1/4 tsp dry mustard

Steps:

  • 1. Arrange wings in a shallow baking pan. Heat butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, water and mustard until bUtter and sugar melts. Cool. Pour over wings and marinate at least 2 hours. Turn once or twice. Bake in same pan in 375 degrees oven for 1 1/2 hours. Drain on paper towels before serving. Makes 6-8 servings.

2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Disjoint chicken wings, discarding bony tips.
  • 2. Arrange meatier wing parts in shallow baking pan.
  • 3. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, butter, mustard and water and heat until sugar and butter dissolve.
  • 4. Cool and pour over wings.
  • 5. Marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  • 6. Bake, in marinade, at 350 degrees 45 minutes, turning once and spooning marinade over chicken occasionally.
  • 7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot or cold.
  • 8. Note: Marinade goes along way. More wings can be added. Marinate in 2 large zip lock bags.
