BING CHERRY CONGEALED SALAD
A creamy Bing cherry gelatin salad.

Steps:
- In a sauce pan, combine reserved cherry juice and pineapple juice to equal 1 cup. Bring to boil, add gelatin and whisk together. Remove from heat and add cream cheese and blend together until smooth.
- Add cola and beat until mixture becomes fluffy. Fold in cherries, pineapple, and nuts. Pour into molded container, chill 6 to 8 hours or until firm.

BING CHERRY AND CREAM CHEESE CONGEALED SALAD
This delightful salad is another from my younger years. It is slightly different from the others posted. It can be served as a salad or as a light dessert.

Steps:
- Bring cherry juice to boiling point and add to gelatin powder in mixing bowl.
- Stir until dissolved and add Coke and lemon juice.
- Chill until partially set.
- Cut cheese into small dice or roll into small balls, and fold along with toasted nuts and cherries into chilled gelatin.
- Pour into mold or serving dish and chill until firm.
- NOTE: Cooking time refers to chilling time.

CHERRY CONGEALED JELLO SALAD
This recipe was shared with me over 20 years ago. It's a wonderful dessert that can be used at holidays but yet still great for any family dinner.

Steps:
- 1. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir in pineapple, cherry pie filling and nuts. Chill until set.
- 2. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, confectioner's sugar and vanilla flavoring until well blended. Spread over top of jello. Refrigerate.
BLACK CHERRY CONGEALED SALAD
Steps:
- Mix gelatin and let chill until slightly thickened.
- Beat cream cheese, whipped topping, fruit, and nuts. Combine with gelatin.
- Chill for about an hour. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

- 1. Dissolve cherry Jell-o in 1 cup hot water.
- 2. Mix in cherry pie filling.
- 3. Add 1 cup cold water and cottage cheese. Mix gently until well blended.
- 4. Pour into a 9x13 inch dish.
- 5. Sprinkle with the pecans. Chill until set.
- 6. Cut into squares to serve. Top with whipped cream if desired.
CHERRY CONGEALED SALAD
Our family started making this about 45 years ago for Thanksgiving and Christmas! The kids would take turns chopping the pecans & pinching the cream cheese into little bits! Everyone looked forward to a slice!

Dissolve jello in boiling water [you can use some of the cherry juice from the can to the water to make 1 cup]....add the ice cold coke [or Dr. Pepper]...add cherries, drained crushed pineapple, pecans small pieces and pieces of cream cheese...I just pinch the cream cheese into small pieces while cold and add in. Stir and put in whatever you'd like ...chill until set....then eat-up and enjoy!
- 2. I have made this and put into a metal loaf pan to congeale, then sliced it...like meatloaf...I've also put into large muffin tins then when serving put on pretty lettuce on a bread & butter plate. Also a bowl and when inverted looks pretty tooo.

this is one of the most popular desserts I take to functions, when we have cover dich dinner at church or with friends.

- 1. preheat oven to 350 line 13X9 pan with tin foil In medium bowl combine crushed pretzels with the melted butter. and pecans. press in the bottom of the pan bake for 15 minutes cool completely
- 2. In a medium bowl mix cream cheese and sugaruntil creamy. then add cool whip pour over crust and chill
- 3. in a large mesuring cup combine reserved pineapple juice and cherry juice {drain The fruit}add enough water to make 3 cups of liquid add 2 boxxes or jello bring to a boil. remove from heat and cool add cherries and pineapple place in refrigerator. when it starts to thicken pour on top of cream cheese mixture.
- 4. when completely cool cut into squares and top with whip cream
