1 large small curd cottage cheese
1 small pkg. cherry jello
11 oz can mandarin oranges drained
20 oz crushed pineapple drained
10 oz jar maraschino cherries drained
1 large cool whip
1 c chopped peacans

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the cottage cheese and dry jello together. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours or more.

An old vintage classic jello salad. This Cherry Marshmallow Jello Salad is colorful, easy to make and still is a huge hit at holidays and bbq's. The perfect side dish for a quick meal.

1 3 oz. pkg. cherry jello (or any other flavor)
2 20 oz. cans crushed pineapple
1-2 15 oz. cans mandarin oranges (drained)
1 8 oz. container whipped cream
1 10.5 oz. pkg. marshmallows (we use the colorful ones for fun, the white when we're being "formal")

Steps:

  • In a big bowl, dump the crushed pineapple WITH the juice (don't drain it!!). Dump the jello in with the pineapple. Stir the entire thing until it's thickened. Fold in whipped cream and stir well.
  • Add in the mandarin oranges and stir. Add marshmallows. Put in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

1 (6 ounce) package cherry-flavored gelatin (such as JELL-O®)
2 cups hot water
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, juice drained and reserved
3 bananas, sliced
1 ½ cups cold water
1 cup miniature marshmallows, or as needed
¾ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Dissolve gelatin completely in 2 cups hot water and pour into desired mold. Mix crushed pineapple, bananas, and 1 1/2 cup cold water into gelatin mixture; top with miniature marshmallows. Chill until firm.
  • Whisk reserved pineapple juice, sugar, flour, and egg in a saucepan over low heat and cook, whisking constantly, until mixture almost comes to a simmer and becomes thick, about 5 minutes. Mix cream cheese into sauce, transfer to a large bowl, and cool to room temperature. Stir whipped topping into cream cheese mixture. Spread over gelatin. Chill thoroughly before serving.

Easy bing cherry jello salad with pineapple and cherry soda! This easy dessert or fruit side dish can be made low sugar with sugar free jello and diet soda.

20 ounces crushed pineapple ((drained and juice reserved))
Water
2 packages black cherry Jello ((3 ounces each))
12 ounces Cherry Coke soda
30 ounces Bing cherries (or dark sweet cherries) ((drained) (2 15 ounce cans))

Steps:

  • Add enough water to the drained reserved pineapple to equal two cups.
  • Heat the water/juice mixture in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave until boiling point.
  • Add the Jello and mix well.
  • Add in the cherry soda. Stir well.
  • Chill for 60-90 minutes or until partially set.
  • Add in the drained pineapple and drained cherries. Mix well.
  • Pour into a deep 8x8 baking pan (at least 2" sides).
  • Refrigerate until firm.
  • Serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

2 (6 ounce) packages instant cherry Jell-O
2 cups hot water
1/4 cup cold water
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
14 large marshmallows
3 ounces cream cheese
2 cups Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Dissolve cherry jello, hot water and cold water. Then add cherry pie filling.
  • Put this in jello and put in glass cake pan or corning ware. Chill until set.
  • Melt the marshmallows and cream cheese in the microwave, then cool.
  • Fold in the cool whip and spread on top of jello.
