CHEESY APPLE-BACON BRUNCH

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 12-inch skillet, cook bacon over low heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon; set aside.
- In small bowl, mix apple and sugar; spread in baking dish. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs until blended; pour over apple. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon.
- Bake uncovered 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Coat 24 muffin cups with cooking spray.
- Mix flour, Cheddar cheese, baking powder, garlic salt, and black pepper together in a large bowl.
- Beat eggs, milk, and vegetable oil together in a small bowl; stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Gently fold bacon through the batter. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Grease muffin pans.
- COMBINE flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cheeses in large mixing bowl.
- BEAT egg, buttermilk, oil and apple together thoroughly.
- ADD liquid ingredients all at once to dry ingredients.
- Stir just until moistened.
- FILL greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
- SPRINKLE tops with 1/4 cup cheddar cheese if desired.
- BAKE at 400°F for 18-23 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, stir together bacon, apple, cheese, onion, sage and salt. In medium bowl, stir together Bisquick® mix, milk and eggs with fork until well blended.
- Spoon slightly less than 1 tablespoonful Bisquick mixture into bottom of each muffin cup. Top each with about 1/4 cup bacon mixture. Top with remaining Bisquick® mixture.
