1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup butter
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled & devained
1 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
Dash cayenne pepper
1 cup sour cream
2 cups cooked rice
Parsley (garnish)

Steps:

  • 1. Saute onion in butter for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms, cook 5 minutes longer.
  • 2. Add shrimp - cook only until they turn pink.
  • 3. Sprinkle in flour, salt & pepper. Stir in sour cream & cook gently for 10 minutes. Do not boil. Serve over rice - garnish with parsley.
