2 lbs lean ground beef
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons ketchup
2 -3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
12 ounces American cheese (cut up or shredded)
3 -4 tablespoons milk
salt, if needed to taste
hamburger buns or kaiser roll
lettuce leaf (optional)

Steps:

  • In large skillet, brown/crumble ground beef with the green pepper, onion and garlic until meat is no longer pink. Drain.
  • Place cooked drained beef mixture into Crockpot. Add all addiotional ingredients (EXCEPT buns and lettuce).
  • Cover and cook on low for at least six hours, stirring once halfway through.
  • Stir again just before serving.
  • Serve by spooning onto buns/rolls with optional lettuce leaves.
  • If mixture gets too dry while being kept warm, add more ketchup or milk.

3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed (can use more if you want extra-cheesy)
2 tablespoons milk
1 onion, finely chopped
8 Pretzel rolls, split (or hamburger buns)
mustard
ketchup
mayonnaise
pickle
tomatoes
lettuce

Steps:

  • Brown beef in a skillet with garlic and seasonings.
  • Drain and mix with Velveeta, milk and onion in slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  • Toast buns; spoon meat mixture on bottom bun, add garnishes and top off with top bun.

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon garlic, pepper blend
1 (8 ounce) package cheese slices, pasturized, diced
2 tablespoons milk
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
8 sandwich buns

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef and garlic-pepper blend until thoroughly cooked. Drain.
  • In a 3 1/2 - 4 quart crockery pot, combine cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well.
  • Cover; cool on low setting for 6-7 hours.
  • To serve, spoon mixture onto sandwich buns.

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 can condensed tomato soup, 10.75 ounces
1/4 cup of water
1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp dried Italian Seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
8 hamburger buns
8 slices american cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a very large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over a medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in soup, water, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic and pepper. 2. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened. Reserve half of the mixture (2.5 cups) for Quick Shepherd's Pie. Divide the remaining mixture among the bun bottoms and top with cheese slices and bun tops.
