COPYCAT APPLEBEE'S™ BUTTER PECAN BLONDIES
Move over, brownie sundae-there's a new dessert in town, and we think it's even better than the classic. It's this soft, buttery blondie topped with a thick maple syrup and cream cheese sauce. And if that's not enough, it's sprinkled with candied pecans, too.

BUTTER PECAN CAKE BROWNIES
These are easy and delicious. I have had this recipe for years and not made them very often, but someone brought them to my Mom's on Christmas Eve and everyone went nuts over them. My husband and mother-in-law asked me to get the recipe, I told them I had it already and they wanted to know why I had not made them any before! So, now I am in trouble (lol) and I have to make them!

GRANDMA'S OLD-FASHIONED BUTTER PECAN SUNDAE
Super quick to make and we have to say this is one of the best butter pecan caramels we've ever had. One bite and you'll skip picking up toppings from the store. The recipe made about 2 cups and the extra stores well in the fridge. It thickens up a bit in the fridge but is still spoonable. Use it slightly warmed or cold. Either...

Steps:
- Preheat a waffle iron to medium-high. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F (to keep cooked waffles warm). Sift together the flour, cocoa powder and 1/8 teaspoon salt in a small bowl; set aside.
- Combine half the chocolate and the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. Stir in the sugar and eggs. Add the flour mixture and remaining chocolate and stir until just combined.
- Lightly brush the top and bottom of the waffle iron with butter. Fill the waffle iron about three-quarters of the way full (some waffle iron should still be showing). Close the lid gently and cook until the waffles are cooked through and slightly crispy around the edges, 4 to 6 minutes. Keep the cooked waffles warm in a 200 degrees F oven or covered with foil on a plate while you make the remaining waffles.
- Top each waffle with ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce, sprinkles and a cherry, if desired.
