My 10 year old likes to make these with her Gram and she gives them out for Christmas. Yummy!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box butter pecan cake mix (unprepared)
4 large eggs
1/3 c oil
1 c water
1 c pecans, chopped
1 box instant banana cream pudding mix
3/4 c heath brickle chips (from baking aisle)

Steps:

  • 1. Grease and flour mini pans. Set aside. Mix all ingredients and evenly pour into pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, when center of loaf is firm.
  • 2. *Will make 2 large loaves, 350 degrees for 50 minutes

This is a wonderful sweet, breakfast-type bread that can be eaten all day long. This is fantastic served warm with butter or at room temperature.

1 (18.25 ounce) package butter pecan cake mix
¾ cup hot water
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup chopped pecans
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant coconut cream pudding mix
4 eggs
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  • Stir cake mix and water together in a large bowl; add vegetable oil, pecans, pudding mix, eggs, poppy seeds, vanilla extract. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Increase temperature to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of a loaf comes out clean, about 45 more minutes.

1 pkg butter brickle cake mix
1 pkg instant coconut pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 tbsp poppy seed
1 cup hot water

Steps:

  • Add eggs, cooking oil and water to cake mix. Stir in pudding. Mix on medium speed of mixer for 4 or 5 minutes. Then add poppy seed. Mix in thoroughly. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.

1 box yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
4 large eggs
¾ cup water
½ cup oil
½ teaspoon butter flavoring or vanilla
1 cup almond brickle chips (alternate: toffee chips)
1 cup pecans, toasted at 350 degrees for 5 minutes

Steps:

  • reheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine cake mix and next five ingredients; beat at medium speed for 5 minutes. Stir in chips.
  • Spray two medium loaf pans with cooking spray and sprinkle toasted pecans in pans. Pour batter evenly over pecans.

Tips & Notes
Toasting pecans enhances their natural flavors. Simply place chopped nuts in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet. Place on middle rack in a 350° oven and toast 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once during cooking time.
