- Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, bacon and onion.
- Prepare the dressing in a small bowl by whisking together the red wine vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Combine dressing with salad. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

- Mix broccoli, cauliflower, Cheddar cheese, onion, and crumbled bacon together in a large bowl.

- 1. Cook bacon according to your favorite method. I like to use thick sliced bacon.Bacon bits can be substituted here if you like.Crumble bacon and set aside.
- 2. Clean broccoli. Cut up into bite size pieces. Toss with grated cheese, bacon pieces, onion and cole slaw dressing.
- 3. Keep in fridge till ready to serve.
