Found this tangy garlic mayo recipe while trying to dress up a steak sandwich but it works a much better on BLTs. I'll include ingredients for a single sandwich, you can multiply the ingredients from there depending on how many servings you need.

Number Of Ingredients 9

6 slices fried bacon
4 slices tomatoes
4 leaves lettuce
3 slices toasted white bread
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (I use minced in a jar)
1/4 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Tangy Garlic Mayo: Mash minced garlic with a spoon until you get a pasty consistency. Stir garlic, mayo, balsamic vinegar and lemon juice in a bowl until thoroughly mixed.
  • BLT Club:.
  • Spread garlic mayo on first piece of toast, top with 2 leaves of lettuce, 3 slices of bacon and 2 slices of tomato.
  • Spread garlic mayo on both sides of second piece of toast and place on top of first layer of sandwich. Top with 2 leaves of lettuce, 3 slices of bacon and 2 slices of tomato, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread garlic mayo on last slice of toast, place on sandwich, then cut diagonally and serve. (fries and a pickle spear are a good side).

10 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
2 cups lettuce leaves, hand torn into bit-size pieces
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 large tomatoes, sliced
1/4 red onion, sliced into rings cut in half
1/3 cup light ranch salad dressing
1/4 lb turkey breast, thinly sliced and chopped, from deli
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas

Steps:

  • Toss together bacon crumbles, leaf lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato, red onion, chopped turkey breast, and ranch dressing.
  • Spread one-sixth of bacon mixture on each tortilla.
  • Fold up bottom third of each tortilla; roll up to form cone shape with folded end at bottom.

3 slices toasted bread
mayonnaise
2 slices American cheese (optional)
1 tomatoes, sliced, divided
3 leaves lettuce, divided
6 slices crisp bacon, divided

Steps:

  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of a piece of toast; add layer of American cheese, blt, two slices of tomato, one leaves of lettuce, and three pieces of bacon.
  • Spread mayonnaise on second piece of toast and place on top, mayo side down.
  • Spread mayonnaise on top of that second piece of toast.
  • Layer American cheese, the rest of the tomatoes, lettuce, and bacon on top.
  • Spread mayonnaise on third piece of toast and place on the stack mayo side down.
  • Place toothpicks in 4 corners of sandwich to hold together.
  • Slice the sandwich in quarters diagonally.

1/2 clove peeled garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1/2 cup light mayonnaise or 1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise

  • Blend first three ingredients in food processor until basil is finely chopped.
  • Add mayonnaise.
  • Enjoy on your favorite sandwich!
