1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Whisk together the vinegar, basil, garlic and a generous pinch of salt in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in the oil, starting with a few drops and then adding the rest in a steady stream to make a smooth, slightly thick dressing. Whisk in a couple turns of freshly ground black pepper.

Alright this one came out of my Jamie Oliver cookbook. Really simple and get this....no extra bowls....cause you put all the ingredients in a jar and shake em up!

5 tablespoon(s) olive oil, extra virgin
1 - handful of chopped fresh basil
1 - handful of pine nuts,toasted and chopped
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Put all ingredients in a jar and shake ingredients up. Can store in fridge for a week.

½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
½ cup fresh basil leaves, sliced
⅓ cup pine nuts, chopped
2 tablespoons water
⅛ teaspoon white sugar

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, pine nuts, water, and sugar. Cover, and refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight.
