One of our favourite foodie trends is taking a beloved recipe or dish and giving it a new twist. This recipe takes all the flavours of a classic banana split (strawberry, pineapple, banana, coconut and chocolate) blended into a luscious, retro milkshake.

- Combine ice cream, banana, strawberries, pineapple and chocolate syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Divide shake between 2 large (or 4 smaller) glasses. Squirt a generous amount of coconut whipped cream on top. Garnish with additional chocolate syrup and a cherry (if using). Serve immediately.

- Place the strawberry ice cream, bananas, milk, and chocolate chips in a blender. Blend for about 40 seconds until smooth. (Allow a few chocolate chips to stay whole). Divide the mixture into four tall glasses. Top each glass with 1 oz of whipped topping. Drizzle 1 Tbsp of caramel sauce and 1 Tbsp of chocolate syrup on the whipped topping. Divide the walnuts among the shakes. Then finish each milk shake with a cherry.

- In a blender, combine milk, banana, cherries or strawberries and chocolate syrup, blend on high until ingredients are well blended.
- Add ice cream in 4 equal increments,blend on high for about 10 seconds or so after each addition, blend until thick and smooth.
- Serve with a cherry on top and a tall straw.
- Enjoy!
