BACONIZED CORN
LOVE this - from the Mennonite Community Cookbook. My mother made a skillet version of this a lot when I was a kid. She used fresh corn from our garden. Of course, fresh corn cut off the cob makes this recipe even more yummy! A great summer recipe.

"BACONIZED CORN"
Found this in an old Mennonite Cookbook circa 1950! This collection of over 1,100 recipes comes from most of the Mennonite communities in the United States and Canada. It really is a good summer side dish. Just not one you would indulge in too often. We tried it and loved it! Hope you enjoy it too. I will find other interesting...
