16 cups torn fresh spinach (about 12 ounces)
12 cherry tomatoes, halved
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup julienned red onion
CREAMY OREGANO DRESSING:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 to 2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the spinach, tomatoes, bacon and onion. In a small bowl, whisk the dressing ingredients until smooth. Serve with salad.

4 slices bacon, diced
1/3 cup Catalina dressing
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
6 cups torn spinach
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cup diced provolone cheese

Steps:

  • In lg skillet, cook bacon until crisp, spoon onto paper towels.
  • Reserve 2 T of the bacon drippings in the skillet.
  • To drippings, add salad dressing, mustard, salt and pepper.
  • Cook and stir on low until heated through.
  • In lg bowl, combine spinach, tomatoes, and cheese.
  • Drizzle warm dressing over the spinach.

1/2 pound sliced bacon, diced
1/3 cup Catalina salad dressing
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
8 cups baby spinach or torn fresh spinach
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cup crumbled blue or feta cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove to paper towels. drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Add the salad dressing, mustard, salt and pepper to the drippings; cook and stir over low heat until heated through., In a large salad bowl, combine the spinach, tomatoes, cheese and bacon. 1 pound(s) bacon, cooked crispy, drained and crumbled
4 cup(s) baby spinach - rinsed, drained or romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 pound(s) penne pasta cooked, drained and chilled
2 large ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup(s) chopped, sweet onion
shredded - cheddar cheese if desired
DRESSING
3/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
1/4 - 1/3 cup(s) thousand island dressing
1/3 cup(s) milk
3/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 1/2 - 2 teaspoon(s) salad supreme seasoning or to taste
pepper - to taste

Steps:

  • Mix dressing ingredients in a blender or food processor until thoroughly blended. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Taste and add more seasoning if needed before adding to salad. Place pasta, spinach, tomatoes and onion in a large serving bowl. Mix together. About 15 minutes before serving toss ingredients with the bacon and dressing. Refrigerate leftovers.
