ROASTED RED PEPPER CHEESE BALL
A great combination. I actually got this recipe from a great aunt. You could always roll it in your choice of chopped nuts if you don't like parsley. I myself am a huge parsley fan.

Valuable Tips for Making April's Roasted Red Pepper Cheese Ball Recipes
A cheese ball is a classic party appetizer that never goes out of style. It's easy to make, customizable, and always a crowd-pleaser. April's roasted red pepper cheese ball recipe takes the classic cheese ball to the next level with the addition of roasted red peppers, herbs, and spices. Here are some valuable tips for making April's roasted red pepper cheese ball recipe that will ensure a delicious and successful outcome.
1. Choose the right cheese
The base of any cheese ball is, of course, cheese. For this recipe, it's important to choose a cheese that will pair well with the roasted red peppers. Cream cheese is a popular choice for cheese balls because it's creamy and easy to work with. However, you can also use other types of cheese such as goat cheese, feta cheese, or even a blend of different cheeses. Just make sure the cheese you choose isn't too overpowering and won't clash with the other flavors in the recipe.
2. Use high-quality roasted red peppers
Roasted red peppers are the star ingredient in this recipe, so it's important to use high-quality peppers. You can use store-bought roasted red peppers, but if you have the time, it's worth roasting your own peppers. This will give the cheese ball a fresher, more vibrant flavor. To roast your own peppers, simply place them on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the skins are charred. Let the peppers cool, then peel off the skin and discard the seeds and stem.
3. Drain the roasted red peppers well
Roasted red peppers can be quite watery, so it's important to drain them well before adding them to the cheese ball mixture. You don't want the cheese ball to be too wet or it won't hold its shape. To drain the roasted red peppers, simply place them on a paper towel and pat them dry. You can also use a colander to drain them, but make sure to shake off any excess water before adding them to the cheese ball mixture.
4. Add herbs and spices for extra flavor
To add extra flavor to the cheese ball, April's recipe calls for a blend of herbs and spices. This includes garlic, parsley, oregano, and paprika. These herbs and spices not only add flavor but also give the cheese ball a beautiful color. You can adjust the amounts of each herb and spice to suit your taste, but be careful not to overdo it. Too much garlic or paprika can be overpowering.
5. Chill the cheese ball before serving
Once you've mixed all the ingredients together and formed the cheese ball, it's important to chill it for at least an hour before serving. This will allow the cheese ball to firm up and make it easier to handle. You can even make the cheese ball a day ahead of time and chill it overnight. Just make sure to cover it tightly with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.
In conclusion, a roasted red pepper cheese ball is a delicious and easy appetizer that's perfect for any party or gathering. By following these valuable tips, you can ensure that your cheese ball turns out perfectly every time. Remember to choose the right cheese, use high-quality roasted red peppers, drain the peppers well, add herbs and spices for extra flavor, and chill the cheese ball before serving. With these tips in mind, your cheese ball is sure to be a hit with your guests.
