A crusty French baguette or Italian bread works best for these stuffed baguettes as they have a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior, making them ideal for stuffing. Avoid using soft bread, as it will not hold up well when stuffed with antipasto ingredients. 3. Season your ingredients The key to making delicious antipasto stuffed baguettes is seasoning your ingredients. Begin by spreading a layer of mayonnaise or Dijon mustard on the inside of the bread. Then add the cold cuts, cheese, and vegetables in alternating layers. Start with the cold cuts followed by cheese and then vegetables until the baguette is full. 5. Press the sandwich down To ensure that your antipasto stuffed baguette is well-packed and to prevent it from falling apart, you should press it down lightly after stuffing all the ingredients. This will help compress the antipasto filling and keep it in place. 6. Wrap and refrigerate After preparing the stuffed baguette, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour before slicing it. This process will ensure that the flavors are well combined, and the stuffing is firm. When ready to serve, remove the plastic wrap and slice the stuffed baguette into rounds. 7. Use toothpicks to hold the slices together To prevent the antipasto stuffing from falling apart, use toothpicks to hold the slices together. Toothpicks will hold the slices perfectly, and they are easy to remove when serving. Just make sure to remove the toothpicks before serving the antipasto stuffed baguette. 8. Serve with sauces After preparing the antipasto stuffed baguette, serve it with your favorite dipping sauce. You can try marinara sauce, balsamic glaze, or Italian dressing. These sauces will add additional flavor and will make your antipasto stuffed baguette more enjoyable. 9. Experiment with ingredients While traditional antipasto stuffing ingredients are cold cuts, cheese, and vegetables, you can always experiment with other ingredients to make your stuffed baguette unique. You can add roasted peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, or olives to your antipasto stuffing. These ingredients will add flavor and texture to your stuffed baguette. 10.
