ANDY'S TACO SEASONING

Andy's Taco Seasoning image

When I make tacos, I like to brown the meat with some onions and garlic, and then add this particular combination of ingredients. It really kicks up the flavor of the ground beef. And, if you want some vegetarian tacos, use this seasoning with my Vegetarian TVP Tacos Recipe. http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/main-course/main-course-other-main-course/vegetarian-tvp-tacos.html So, you ready... Let's get into the kitchen.

TACO SEASONING

Taco Seasoning image

Skip the powdered, packaged stuff and make your own taco seasoning, adjusting the spices to your family's taste. The recipe below makes enough to season one pound of browned ground meat (it even works with crumbled tofu), but you can easily double or triple it and store it in airtight container so it's ready to go on a busy weeknight.
