ANDY'S TACO SEASONING
When I make tacos, I like to brown the meat with some onions and garlic, and then add this particular combination of ingredients. It really kicks up the flavor of the ground beef. - Gather your ingredients.
- Thoroughly combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, and then add to the cooking ground beef.
- Chef's Note: This should be enough to flavor about 1.5 pounds of ground beef, or TVP.
- Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
TACO SEASONING
Skip the powdered, packaged stuff and make your own taco seasoning, adjusting the spices to your family's taste. The recipe below makes enough to season one pound of browned ground meat (it even works with crumbled tofu), but you can easily double or triple it and store it in airtight container so it's ready to go on a busy weeknight.
