Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Mix the ground beef, Worcestershire, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 thin patties. Cook on the preheated grill until the burgers are cooked to your desired degree of doneness, about 3 minutes per side for well done. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Place the cheese slices on the burgers during the last minute of cooking.
- Heat the can of chili in a saucepan until hot. Cut the hamburger patties in half and put two halves into a hot dog bun, side by side. Place the pickles in the buns and top with chili.

ALL-AMERICAN BURGER DOG
This 'burger dog' is far more than a hot dog-shaped cheeseburger. It's a one-handed wonder that's perfectly proportioned and easier to eat than a regular cheeseburger.

Steps:
- Place half the ground beef on a sheet of plastic wrap. Pat it into a rectangular shape, about 1/2 inch thick, 8 1/2 inches long, and 4 inches wide. Season with salt and pepper. Roll the beef into a log, using the plastic wrap as a guide. Season with more salt and pepper. Wrap the plastic tightly around the log and twist both ends tight. Pat gently to slightly flatten. Repeat with remaining ground beef.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Remove the burger dogs from the plastic wrap and place on the grill, perpendicular to the grates. Cook until burgers are browned but still pink inside, 4 to 5 minutes, flip, and cook another 2 to 3 minutes. Place a slice of cheese on each burger dog and grill to medium doneness (an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 140 degrees F/60 degrees C). Remove and rest 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toast hot dog buns on the grill and spread each with 2 teaspoons mayonnaise. Place burger dog on each bun and squirt 1 tablespoon of ketchup on top.

CHILI CHEESE DOGS
This top dog is perfect for game day. With minimal ingredients (and time!) you can make a slightly spicy beef chili and keep it warm in a slow cooker on the warm setting. Double the recipe for a hungry crowd and serve with extra toppings, like chopped raw onions, relish or french-fried onions.

Steps:
- For the chili: Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring frequently, until soft and translucent, about 8 minutes. Add the beef and garlic and cook, stirring and breaking up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon, until the meat is brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the chili powder, cayenne, cumin, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper and cook, stirring, until well combined, about 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, tomato paste and 1/2 cup water to the pot. Stir well and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered and stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
- For the chili dogs: Preheat a grill or large grill pan to medium. Grill the hot dogs according to the package directions until grill marks appear and the hot dogs are warmed through, about 5 minutes. Working in batches, if necessary, grill the cut side of the buns until golden and toasted, about 1 minute. Build the hot dogs and top each with about 1/4 cup of chili spooned down the length of the hot dog. Sprinkle each with some cheese and serve with ketchup and mustard.
ALL AMERICAN CHILI CHEESE BURGER DOG
Who doesn't love hot dogs and hamburgers? I love them both, but I can never eat both, only one. Well...not anymore, now I can have my favorite hot dog, and my burger too! This burger is based on my favorite way to eat a hot dog: chili cheese with onions. You can turn this into your favorite burger dog too!

Steps:
- 1. Slice your wieners across ways. Season your meat as you normally would, divide meat into number of equal portions for the number of burgers you plan to cook.
- 2. Now the tricky part. I thought these cow patties would good together just like normal, wrong!! They apparently have an adverse reaction to the wieners. They don't particularly want to hold together. Not wanting to add an egg, I did manage to manipulate one burger together, and added more wieners to it once I got it shaped.
- 3. The other ones, I cut each burger portion in half, made a patty, added the wieners on top, then made another patty and covered the first one. Hence, the wieners were inside like you would put cheese inside two patties. If you use this method, be sure to seal the edges all the way around.
- 4. Grill your burger to perfection, depending on your taste. https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/main-course/beef/flame-broiled-burger.html?p=1
- 5. This is what your little mooing dogs will look like.
- 6. Add chili, grated cheese, and diced onion, place on baking sheet in 400° oven for about 4-5 min. to melt cheese and heat bun.
- 7. Get a little wild and put all your favorite hot dog toppings on your newly addicting "Burger Dog".
