1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
2 cans (14.5 oz each) Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15.5 oz) red beans, drained, rinsed
1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ black beans, drained, rinsed
1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained, rinsed
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained, rinsed
1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce (from 7-oz can), finely chopped
1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lime juice

Steps:

  • Spray 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix all ingredients except lime juice.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours or on High heat setting 2 to 3 hours.
  • Just before serving, stir in lime juice.

2 large onions, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 ounces tomato paste (about 1 tube)
1/4 cup chili powder
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 cloves garlic, chopped
6 cups vegetable broth
One 28-ounce can diced tomatoes
2 cups canned (drained) or frozen corn
One 15-ounce can black beans
One 15-ounce can garbanzo beans
One 15-ounce can kidney beans
One 15-ounce can pinto beans
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Sour cream or Greek yogurt
Shredded Cheddar
Cooked chopped bacon
Chopped yellow onions
Chopped chives
Sliced jalapenos
Corn chips, such as Fritos
Tortilla chips

Steps:

  • For the chili: In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the onions with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper until the onions are soft, about 3 minutes. Mix in the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil along with the tomato paste, chili powder, chipotle powder, coriander, cumin, cayenne and garlic. Cook to toast the spices and tomato paste, 1 to 2 minutes. Then add the vegetable broth, tomatoes, corn, black beans, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, Worcestershire and 1 tablespoon salt. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve the chili with the toppings bar.

1 pkg mccormick chili seasoning
1 can(s) dark red kidney beans
1 can(s) light red kidney beans
1 can(s) cannellini beans
1 can(s) black beans ( rinsed and drained)
1 can(s) seasoned tomato sauce for chili
1 can(s) diced cut tomatoes
1 lb hamburger
1/4 c water
1 medium onion

Steps:

  • 1. Cook hamburger on medium heat until done.
  • 2. Chop onion. Saute in 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 3. Open all cans of beans. Drain.
  • 4. Rinse Black Beans
  • 5. Put beans, hamburger & onions in slow cooker. Add Tomato Sauce, tomatoes, water and seasoning. Stir.
  • 6. Cook on low 4 - 6 hrs.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 (15-ounce) can refried beans
1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
3 cups vegetable or beef broth
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash salt (if desired)
1 (15-ounce) can black beans (rinsed and drained)
1 (15-ounce) can navy beans (rinsed and drained)
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans (rinsed and drained)

Steps:

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic; cook and stir until tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Stir in the refried beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and 1 cup of the broth; stir until beans and tomato paste dissolve.

1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 large sweet onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes with mild green chiles
2 cans (15 ounces each) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain., Transfer beef mixture to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Drain one can of tomatoes, discarding liquid; add to slow cooker. Stir in beans, chili powder, cumin, salt and remaining tomatoes.
