1/3 cup A.1. Original Sauce
2 tsp. lemon zest
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 beef petite shoulder tender (1 lb.)

Steps:

  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Mix all ingredients except steak until blended. Reserve half the A.1. mixture for later use; brush remaining evenly onto both sides of steak.
  • Grill steak 5 min. on each side or until medium doneness (160°F), brushing occasionally with the reserved A.1. mixture for the last few minutes.

1 pound boneless beef top sirloin steak, about 1-inch thick, trimmed of fat
0.5 cup water
0.5 cup apple cider
0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Nonstick cooking spray
Salt and ground black pepper
0.25 cup honey

Steps:

  • Place steak in a resealable plastic bag. Add water, apple cider, Worcestershire, balsamic vinegar, and crushed red pepper. Seal bag, turning to coat meat. Let stand 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Heat a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Remove beef from marinade, reserving marinade. Season beef with salt and black pepper. Cook in skillet about 12 minutes, turning once, or until desired doneness. Remove to a cutting board; cover.
  • Add marinade and honey to skillet; whisk to combine. Bring to boiling; boil gently, uncovered, about 7 minutes or until reduced to 1/3 cup. Serve glaze with sliced steak.

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon lemon zest, minced
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Stir together panko, garlic and oregano; place in a shallow dish. Dredge both sides of chicken in panko mixture.
  • Combine lemon juice, honey, tabasco, and zest for glaze in a small bowl, set aside.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; saute' until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 12 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet.
  • Add lemon-honey glaze to the skillet; reduce until syrupy, less than a minute. Return chicken to the skillet, flipping the pieces once to coat them with glaze.
  • Serve.
