Bacon-Wrapped Cocktail Wieners are the perfect keto appetizer. They're also a great gluten-free snack that you can make in 30 minutes.

1 package (12 pieces) bacon
1 package cocktail wieners
1/4 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 325 F.
  • Set a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet.
  • Cut the bacon into thirds. Wrap a piece of bacon around a cocktail wieners and put them, cut side down, on the wire rack. Continue until you are out of bacon.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar, generously, on top of the bacon-wrapped mini hot dogs. Place the entire cookie sheet in the oven and bake about 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package beef cocktail wieners
¾ cup brown sugar, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all.
  • Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sugar is bubbly. To serve, place the wieners in a slow cooker and keep on the low setting.

A cousin of mine loves cooking and shares all her favorites with me. This one came several years ago, I served these to a group and the requests have never ended. These are addictive and delicious.

2 lbs Little Smokies sausages (we use Hillshire Farm)
1 lb bacon (real bacon, no turkey bacon or maple flavored)
2 cups light brown sugar

Steps:

  • Line large baking sheet with foil (we don't always do this, but it's easier for cleanup).
  • Cut bacon into thirds, resulting in several 3" strips.
  • wrap each weiner with bacon, line them loosely in the pan as you go.
  • Cover with brown sugar, it'll seem like a lot of sugar, but it cooks down
  • Bake 375 for 45 minutes. Broil at the end until top is crisped.
  • Hurry and get your share before everyone eats them all!

8 slice bacon, uncooked (thin sliced)
1 pkg cheddar cheese, cut into strips

Steps:

  • 1. Cut slit into middle of each weiner.
  • 2. Stuff with strips of cheese.
  • 3. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each weiner. Secure with toothpick.
  • 4. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees until bacon is done-about 30 minutes.

1 pound bacon, cut in quarters crosswise
½ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar

  • Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Wrap hot dog pieces in bacon pieces and secure with toothpicks. Arrange on a baking sheet.
