Number Of Ingredients 11

1-1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup white baking chips
1 teaspoon shortening

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir 3 minutes., Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla until blended. Stir in oats and coconut. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets., In a microwave, melt baking chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Drizzle over cookies. Refrigerate until set. Store in airtight containers.

you can make these with white almond bark or brown almond bark. does not matter. have fun with it.

4 - squares,of either the white or the brown almond bark
2 cup(s) white sugar
1/2 cup(s) margarine
1/2 cup(s) milk plus one table spoon
3/4 cup(s) peanut butter
1 cup(s) coconut, shredded
3 cup(s) quick oats
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla

Steps:

  • in large sauce pan bring to boil, milk,butter,almond bark and sugars. boil one min remove from heat. add vanilla and peanut butter stirring till smooth. add coconut and the oatmeal. stir completely till all the oats are mended.
  • let cool for 5mins then spoon on to wax or parchment paper. cool completely in fridge 1-2 hours and place in sealed air tight container in the fridge.

1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
2 cups white sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup milk
½ cup margarine

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
  • Mix oats and coconut in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
  • Stir sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and margarine together in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. ½ cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, or more to taste
½ cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups quick oats
½ cup shredded sweetened coconut

Steps:

  • Bring sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa to a boil in a large saucepan. Let boil until all sugar crystals on the sides of the pan are dissolved, about 2 minutes.
