1 lb uncooked 93% lean ground beef (with 7% fat)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
4 reduced-calorie hamburger buns

Steps:

  • Coat a large griddle, outdoor grill rack or stovetop grill pan with cooking spray and preheat to medium-high.
  • In a large bowl, combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well and shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1-inch thick each.
  • Place burgers on hot griddle or grill and cook 5 minutes per side for medium (or longer until desired doneness).

0.25 tsp(s) Cumin seeds
0.25 pinch Black pepper
0.25 tsp(s) Table salt
8 piece(s) Lettuce
1 medium Fresh tomato(es) cut into 8 slices
8 medium Uncooked onion(s) red
2 tbsp(s) Uncooked onion(s) minced
4 item(s) Mixed grain hamburger roll(s)

Steps:

  • Heat grill or grill pan. Combine beef, onion, mustard, Italian seasoning, cumin, pepper and salt until thoroughly mixed.

2 -3 crushed ice cubes

Steps:

  • Dissolve salt and pepper in ice water.
  • Use at least 1/2 teaspoon of salt for each pound of meat you use.
  • Add spiced water to meat, then add crushed ice and work in gently.
  • Form 4 patties and grill or pan fry.
